Ian Thompson’s work is informed by years of close study of painting and ceramic traditions from around the world, such as painting with oxides, slips and engobes under transparent glazes similar to traditional Korean, Chinese, Japanese and Greek archaic ware. Ian will be talking about these methods with demos and examples.
